Review - September 2026
Half way through the financial year. Where did those 6 months go? ASDA and Co have had the Christmas chocolates out for 2 months! Soon the radio stations will be defrosting Mariah Carey too.
We have had a very good first half of 2026/27. Not only are the numbers up on last year’s turnover but the workshop is nearing full capacity. We’ve picked up several new customers in the start of this year too. Just recently we secured one of the biggest orders in the company’s history from a new customer. This is done entirely in house, end to end, and means our team have had to push themselves to levels of accuracy and service beyond anything before. They have absolutely smashed it!
This month has been another good one, another all time record. The regulatory with which we are exceeding our own targets and expectations is testament to the team, the camaraderie and desire to grow the business. I am exceptionally proud of everything we’ve achieved so far. As far as the overall year goes we’re winning at half time, got to keep up the momentum.
Speaking of half time and sports we have said goodbye to two of our sponsorship partners this week. Our partnerships with Bath Rugby and Somerset Cricket came to an end and we have decided to not renew them. We part on good terms and both sides are open to working together in the future. We continue to build our relationship will Yeovil Town FC and Gloucester Rugby.

On the subject of Gloucester Rugby we were, once again, able to bring Jack Mann to Weston this month. Jack came down and helped the Weston Rugby Club Under 15s with their line outs. This age group is the first year of proper line outs and his knowhow and advice made a huge difference. Jack enjoys it, the boys love it and it helps us support our community.

Overall things are going very well and we continue to push on as a business. As always thank you to our staff, customers and suppliers.
Alex
