Thank You To Somerset CCC & Bath Rugby
As the 2026 cricket season comes to an end, and the 2026/27 rugby season begins, we would like to thank both Somerset CCC and Bath Rugby.
Following recent discussions we will not be sponsoring these wonderful clubs in 2026/27. We have had great experiences with both. As we continue to build our relationship with Yeovil Town FC and Gloucester Rugby we can reflect on our departing partners with fondness.
Somerset CCC have been wonderful in helping us grow our profile throughout Somerset. For 2 years we have proudly displayed the Wyvern on our marketing. Lewis Goldsworthy for 2 years and Niamh Holland for 1 have given us some incredible moments on the pitch. Lewis was part of the Vitality Blast winning team of 2025. He also captained this year’s the Metro Bank One Day squad. Achieving some incredible personal goals including key wickets and majestic hundreds. Always appreciative of our support and interest Lewis we loved having you as part of Amarin.
Niamh Holland has had a phenomenal season with Somerset’s Women’s team. A call up to England A on her home ground being a highlight. We have been lucky enough to watch Niamh take many wickets, and score even more runs. Most recently an absolutely stunning 130 off 128 balls against Surrey. Full England recognition is surely only a matter of time now. We wish Niamh all the success in the world.
At Bath Rugby we were proud sponsors of hooker Dan Frost. Although a difficult season at times for Dan with injury and competition for places it is great to see he has started the new season with a bang. Dan crossed the try line several times last season, often sporting our logo on his shirt and was a great ambassador for the company. We were lucky enough to host Dan for an unforgettable night at Tor Rugby Club in April. The children in attendance that night still talk about it.
Although no longer official partners with these two great clubs we wish them all the best. We have appreciated the interaction with their wonderful fans and hope that our involvement has been a fruitful one for the future.
