October 2025 - Review
As the month draws to a close, and another month passes with a great result, I am sat in Shropshire extremely proud of the team.
I have been off for the final week of the month, leaving the team to close out another successful month. We’ve slightly bettered last year and have a great order book looking forward to November. Everyone has worked very hard this month. Industry seems a little bit quiet so Aron and myself have had to get out and see as many customers as possible. What is really encouraging, and exciting, is the number of new customers we are seeing enquiring and ordering.
Our new structure, and team member (Dan), is really clicking. The whole company has a great buzz to it and everyone has a smile on their face. I have taken the opportunity to take up meetings offered to me from multiple industries and hope that new contacts can yield fruit soon.
Personally I have started on the mentorship journey with a great bunch of young people from Weston College.. I have also been lucky enough to be on a small panel invited to meet with the Bank of England. We are currently talking to Yeovil Town FC about a number of commercial opportunities. We always keep our eyes open for anything else that can help us raise our profile.
The Amarin Community Fund has done more good this month. We have supported a long time customer of ours Youth football program and also supported a friend of Rob’s great cause.
Next month we start the exhausting, but wholly worthwhile calendar run. This sees us visit 175 customers in 7-8 weeks to deliver our 2026 calendars. Just a small way to thank them for their support this year. It is a busy time for everyone at Amarin. Christmas party plans are being finalised and that is always nice for everyone to get excited about.
