May 2025 - Review
How is it June tomorrow? Where is this year going? At least the weather is nice.
It has been another busy month at Amarin in lots of ways. On a sales front we’ve had another really good month, topping last year by a good number. The team have worked tirelessly to generate, process and manufacture a huge number of orders this month. We welcomed Aron back full time post paternity leave mid-month. Wanda has managed to have a holiday cruising through Norway and we’ve handled every challenge that has been thrown at us.
We were privileged to host Ross Vintcent, our sponsored player from Exeter Chiefs, who was great company. He took a real interest in the business, what we do and how we do it. Alex caught up with him again at Exeter Chiefs End of Season Awards Night, attended by Alex and returning founding partner Ian. We have built a great relationship with Exeter Chiefs this year. I am very keen to continue that into the coming seasons.
Earlier this week we announced a new partnership with European Challenge Cup winners, and league table toppers Bath Rugby. Bath are not only, currently the best team in the Gallagher Premiership but sit comfortably in our catchment area. We can’t divulge details of what we’re doing with them yet but we are very excited about it. We have another announcement of this nature in the pipeline and that too is a big one!
Digital Creative hero Rob Rees joined us in the office to cover Ross’ visit and to discuss future projects. Rob has so many skills that we continue to explore how we can best use them to maximise our reach and improve our profile.
Next month is already looking strong as we look to close our the first quarter of the 2025/26 tax year with a strong June. We are in a very good place so far and hope to capitalise on all the new business opportunities we currently have.
