Profile - Aron Charles (Field Sales Manager)
Seven months into his time with us (Aron joins) it is time to properly meet Aron.
A career engineer from a variety of industries this is Aron’s first foray into Sales. From handbags to shoes, from pharmaceuticals to food, Aron’s engineering career was very varied. His experience, and knowledge, of a wide reaching work life to date has made for a long contact list. and hugely impressive knowledge. In the first half of this year he has certainly racked up the miles. He has had many appointments meeting existing customers and, as importantly, opening new doors for Amarin.
Out of work Aron is a keen rugby player. Aron plays at hooker for local club Tor Rugby Club (Tor) in their first team. As well as his on field contributions Aron is part of the exec committee at the club. His role, along with others, help to shape the club from the Youth setup all the way to the first XV.
Aron’s main passion is music and he attends many gigs and concerts a year. This passion has seen him as part of the organisational committee of the “Gathering at the Godney” (Godney). This annual music festival takes place this year on the 19th and 20th July and final plans are currently underway. Although a stressful endeavor with trying to tie down big name headliners, logistics of hosting over 30 acts over two days and everything else involved Aron says the buzz makes it all worthwhile.
Married to the lovely Kate, they live in picturesque Fordgate, near Bridgwater. Aron is perfectly placed to service our customer base. Things have started very well for Aron with Amarin and we’re really excited to see what he can achieve in the coming years.
