Profile – Wanda Thompson (Head of Accounts)
The search continues for our newest team member. It the meantime it seems like a good time to introduce another member of our fantastic existing team.
Wanda came to us in early 2022. At the time she had no experience of working within, or indeed running, an accounts department. Not only has Wanda done a great job or learning all the required skills but she, along with Mariet, have changed the way the office works as a whole with new processes and organisation.
Wanda’s work history is, to say the least, varied. From managing stores within a multinational card company, to working in the care sector, she’s seen it all. There is also the small matter of having worked, and lived, at Buckingham Palace! Clearly serving a reigning monarch is perfect preparation for a career in Rubber & Plastics.
As “Dog Mum” to the very large, very handsome, and very crazy German Shephard ‘Barney’ and with family all across the UK, Wanda finds ways to keep herself busy outside of work. Always with a smile or a laugh and incredibly hard working and efficient we’re very lucky to have her.
