July 2025 - Review
Massive congratulations to our wonderful team as we achieved the highest sales month of all time! This marks the second time in the last 3 months that we have achieved this landmark. It is also the third time in the last 12 months that we have done so.
Whether it is our advertising, our player sponsorships, our amazing promotional video or just our staff busting a gut the recipe is working amazingly well at present. I couldn’t be prouder.
This month has been tough for the team for a number of reasons. It has been excessively hot, three of us have had annual leave and we have been hindered by some supply chain issues. Taking all this into account to achieve a record breaking month is phenomenal.
July saw us add another high caliber athlete to our already impressive stable. Somerset CCC all-rounder Lewis Goldsworthy became the latest Amarin sponsored athlete. The deal with Somerset came about following an evening’s cricket at the Cooper Associate’s County Ground as a guest of the club.
As part of the deal Amarin will see advertisements on the digital boards around the ground. Amarin will also feature on the county’s social media accounts. I gain vital access to their business group to make new contacts in the area. We hope this is the start of a long term relationship with our local cricket team.
We are very close now to being allowed to announce our chosen player for Bath Rugby. This week were finally able to confirm that our Gloucester Rugby player is new signing, number 8 and soon to be Scotland international Jack Mann. Both are back in pre-season training now and looking the part! It is very exciting times for Amarin.
Following our team heading to local festival, and great passion of Aron, The Godney Gathering last week this week saw a full staff breakfast meeting. The meeting took place on Tuesday 22nd, including for the first time Rob Rees. It was a very productive and fruitful conversation, and I laid out how I see the next few weeks and months going.
Overall, it has been an outstanding month, and August looks pretty good too. Thank you to all our staff, customers and suppliers.
