Amarin Gather At Godney
This week as part of Amarin’s ongoing commitment to supporting it’s community members of the team have been off site. Wanda, Lewis and Rhu all volunteered to help Aron with the build and setup for the Godney Gathering music festival. This weekend sees the festival rock Garslade Farm with another epic line up. Even Master Ollie Charles made an appearance!
As a cause close to Aron’s heart the Amarin Community Fund offered time rather than financial support. The team spent the day in the gorgeous sunshine. They were fed and watered in exchange for their hard work. The gang helped to build fences and set up backstage areas to keep them private. They also helped in ensuring the site is safe for its thousands of guests.
The team were given paid time away from the office to do this. The whole Godney organising committee were very grateful of the help. Tickets are selling well but with another good weekend of weather on the horizon you can get still get yours here.
Overall the experience has been fun for everyone. It has also helped us give back to Aron’s passion, and hopefully took the load off the team of volunteers slightly! We look forward to seeing the arena in its full glory this weekend.
