August 2025 - Review
August has been a hot one in every way. Beautiful weather all month, as Brits are we allowed to say “Too hot”? Not sure but it’s been getting there. Our sales have been hot too as we have surpassed last year’s August. That makes 5 months out of 5 we have bettered last year’s numbers as we continue to grow. Lots of hard work, Wanda running the office while training Rhu in Sales has meant things have been very busy at Amarin Towers. Aron and I have been back out and about seeing lots of customers and it is yielding some good things. Some intriguing leads starting to play out too…
Over the month we’ve done some good in our community. We helped Weston Foodbank when they put out an SOS needing supplies. Aron’s rugby club, Tor Rugby Club, is hosting a Memorial Game this weekend for their team mate Luke Parsons who passed away. I called in a few favours and we’ve got some amazing prizes for their raffle. Amarin also made a donation to the cause. Supporting Aron is important to us and it means a lot to everyone involved.
I met with Jack Mann, our sponsored Gloucester Rugby player this month. He is a great guy, very keen to be involved with us and all the things we do. He donated a couple of pairs of boots and we have run a very successful competition to give them away to Gloucester Rugby fans. That competition got over 50,000 impressions across our social media! Jack will be doing a training session at Weston Rugby Club with us soon.
We’ve seen lots of great interaction with Somerset CCC. Lewis Goldsworthy has played every game in the Metro Bank Cup. His bowling and batting have been integral to the team making it to the Semi-Final this weekend away at Worcestershire CCC. Discussions have begun about next season with them already.
September 2024 was a big month, we are working very hard already to match or even better it. We have holiday as the Queen of the Office, Wanda, is off to Egypt so it won’t be easy. I know though that the team will work tirelessly to get there. Finally, we welcome a new team member next month when “Dan” joins us in the workshop. Exciting times.
