Amarin In The Community Update
Since the launch of the “Amarin Community Fund” at the end of 2024 we have had a number of suggestions and requests.
As much as we can’t support every good cause we do our best. The idea of the fund is that the team can support causes that mean something to them. In the last couple of weeks we have supported two fantastic good causes.
First off we made a substantial food donation to the Weston Foodbank. You can find out more about their great work here. They are always in need of basic items to help support local families during the current tough times. Our donation contained things like noodles, pasta, tinned items and cleaning products. The donation weighed in at a whopping 76.7 kg!
Lewis and Wanda delivered the donation to the Foodbank’s headquarters and it was gratefully received. Everyone has difficult times, especially at the moment. It is great to be able to help in even a small way.
This week Aron‘s sister, Lauren, who is a member of the PTA at a local school, asked us to support their “Rainbow Coin Challenge”. The goal was to raise money for a new playground by creating the biggest coin rainbow possible for each class. Aron’s niece Molly was in the class we supported, they didn’t win but the school raised a ton of money. Field Sales Manager Aron, “When Lauren asked me if we’d like to be involved it was great to be able to say yes. We’re doing lots for our local community at the moment and the fact that it helped my family means a lot”. We hope the new playground is a great addition to the school.
We’re always on the look out for our wonderful causes to support. We look forward to seeing what the team come up with next.
