December 2025 - Review
I hope everyone had a good Christmas and are ready for everything 2026 throws at us.
We certainly had a lot to get done in December but once again the team stepped up. We have been very busy all month and had some annual leave to deal with. When you add in the final few weeks of an epic calendar run for Aron and I it has been a bit frantic! The guys have been brilliant and we topped what was an impressive figure from last year.
One of the nicest moments of the month was Wanda and I’s visit to Weston General Hospital’s A&E department. We took down 3 bags full of toys, books and treats for them to give to children who ended up there over Christmas. This was our final donation of the first year of the “Amarin Community Fund”. We had a brilliant day as match sponsor at Yeovil Town FC. We hosted staff, customer and suppliers on what was a great day. Amarin sponsored player, Andrew Oluwabori, even scored the winning penalty.
2025 has definitely had it’s challenges, and has not been an easy ride at times but we end the year in a very good place. The team have really taken to their added responsibilities and new roles. The atmosphere in the workplace is really positive and numbers wise we are headed for a record year. I am very proud of all of them. We have some ideas for next year to once again improve our reach and profile. Some very exciting things coming in 2026 for Amarin.
For now though we can only reflect on what has been a great year. Our sports sponsor partnerships have been a success. Our team is working together like never before. Business is very good and it is time for a good, well earned rest for everyone. Given the level of hard work and commitment we’ve seen I gave everyone Christmas Eve off as an additional days annual leave. Because of all the hard work leading up to the break I’ve also given then Friday 2nd off as a thank you.
