Yeovil Town Vs Maidstone United - Sponsored by Amarin
Last Saturday (13th December 2025) Amarin hosted staff, family members, customers and suppliers at Huish Park.

The game was Yeovil‘s FA Trophy 3rd round tie against Maidstone United. As part of our sponsorship we saw branding across the ground, programme and club social media. Thanks to the club we were lucky enough to be offered the Champion Lounge for the day. The club could not have been more supportive of us before, during and after the game.
The young fans in our party were able to meet the new Yeovil manager Billy Rowley along with Aron and Alex. Along with a squad full of autographs was a lovely chat with Maidstone United manager George Elokobi. The club’s photographer was on hand all day to ensure we captured the key moments.

Following a warm greeting, a hearty buffet lunch and a round of festive drinks we settled in for an afternoon’s football. The game itself was a cagey affair with Yeovil having the majority of the possession. The game was a 0-0 stalemate at half time when our guests returned to the warmth of our lounge for refreshments. The second half saw the game restart in a similar vein with the home side pushing for a winning goal.
As the substitutions began Amarin sponsored player, Andrew Oluwabori, took the field. He was joined by debutant Josh Tobin. Despite the Glovers’ best efforts the game was headed to a 0-0 draw and a dreaded penalty shootout. In the 89th minute of the game Tobin arrived at the back post to head home, what appeared to be a winning goal. No more than two minutes later Maidstone equalised through Hamzad Kargbo. We headed to penalties.
Following two wonderful saves from Yeovil goalkeeper Jed Ward it was left to our very own Oluwabori to slot home the winning spot kick. The green and white army went home happy and Town head into the next round.
Our younger guests selected goal scoring debutant Josh Tobin as their Man of the Match and we were graced by his presence post match.

It was a great day for everyone involved. We thank Yeovil Town FC for their hospitality and warm welcome. As we continue to raise our profile in our community working with clubs like The Glovers is a huge asset. We look forward to our return to Huish Park in 2026.
