November 2024 - Review
It is a funny time of year. I don’t like to mention Christmas but it is bearing down on us all!
November has been a very busy month for the workshop. Rhu, Lewis and myself have produced nearing 100,000 components this month. It has been a mad rush at times but we did what we needed to. Financially we matched last November, which was a strong month, and so we’re in good shape for the new year.
December is a very short month as we will be stopping shipping on Wednesday 18th December. This means we have to be on it from day one to get everything moving as we want it to. No doubt our van will be dashing around in the final two days!
I have been stuck in the office for three weeks with a broken foot. I am now trying to see as many customers as I can before the break. Our calendars are extremely popular and so we want to get as many as possible on desks before 2025 begins. While I’ve been unable to do much due to my foot Aron has stepped up and covered some of my area which I greatly appreciate.
We’ve currently got a competition running on our Facebook page. This is part of a strategy to grow our social media presence. In the competition you can win a signed, game worn jersey from Amarin sponsored player Tommy Nappier of the Bristol Pitbulls. This has gained us over 100 followers so far in a few days and a lot of interaction so that is very positive.
We will all be working very hard to make December a good month. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our customers, suppliers and staff a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
