Time For Tea
On a damp afternoon in early March it was “Time for tea”.
On the afternoon of 7th March Mariet & Aron (About us) attended their first Somerset Chamber of Commerce (website) networking event. “Afternoon Tea & Networking at Old Oak Farm” saw attendees enjoy a wonderful afternoon tea in beautiful surroundings of Old Oak Farm in Langport. Amicus Law Solicitors (website) sponsored the event and provided guest speakers Adam Hillier and Brett England. The presentations offered interesting insight into a wide range of related topics.
With opportunities to meet new local businesses our Mariet and Aron made good use of their time making connections with several local businesses. Amongst a sea of sandwiches, sausage rolls and, of course, wonderful sweet treats business cards were exchanged.
Following the event Mariet has accepted an invitation to attend a BNI “Ladies Day” event this week (website) in Yatton. Both Aron and Mariet have connected via LinkedIn, and other social media sites, with fellow attendees. Hopefully these new relationships with fellow delegates can grow in the future.
As we close in on the end of a hugely successful year for Amarin, which will almost certainly be our biggest ever year, we are keen to expand our customer base and to work with local businesses. Both our on the road sales team, and our wonderful sales office are working hard to grow the business. Aron is making strides into new businesses after only 3 months with the company and Alex continues to strive to grow the company in other areas.
