Amarin dà il benvenuto a Ross Vintcent
Exciting news this week as Amarin have partnered with Gallagher Premiership rugby club Exeter Chiefs. Always looking for new horizons to raise our ever-increasing profile and this week we have!
The Italian number 8 Ross Vintcent joins Bristol Pitbulls ice hockey goaltender Tommy Nappier as an Amarin sponsored athlete.
The 22-year-old back-row has become a regular in the Chiefs side this season. Vintcent made his debut for Italy in last year’s Six Nations.
“Ross is one of those young guys that we’re absolutely delighted has committed his long-term future here” said Exeter director of rugby Rob Baxter. “He broke through a little last year with some great performances in the Premiership Cup. To come in this season in the way that he did, he’s proved to be fast, aggressive. He’s been the real point of difference to other people in the league with his pace and work rate.
“Seeing him breakthrough into the senior international Italian team, and for them to have their best Six Nations ever as he played a key part in some historical performances for them, was absolutely fantastic.”
As part of our sponsorship Ross will be joining us for some community work. Stay tuned for that! Having this week been named in Italy’s squad to take on Wales this weekend we look forward to seeing Ross do his thing on the big stage!
