2024 - Starting With A Bang!
Happy New Year to us as we are very happy to report an all time record month for the company. To do this, in the notoriously tough month of January is a fantastic achievement.
New working practices, new business and a lot of hard work have all contributed to an outstanding month. Sales Coordinator, Mariet Plaistow, has taken a leading role in implementing weekly meetings with our workshop team. These meetings have helped to keep our team on track, streamline processes and keep things moving in the right direction.
Aron Charles, our new Field Sales Manager, has already bought in some new business. This is extremely encouraging for Aron taking his first steps into sales. From a company perspective this is, obviously, hugely positive for the short and long term future.
It has been a busy month for our cutting shop. Both Rhu and Lewis have worked extremely hard to keep up with demand. For the first time 3 years we have even had to bring in extra labour on a temporary basis to keep up!
Wanda, in Accounts, has been busy setting up accounts for our new customers, ensuring our suppliers are happy and our supply chains can keep up with demand.
Managing Director Ian Howells, “It is a very encouraging start to a big year for the company. You can’t ask for more from the team than a record month to start the year.” With a large amount of orders already on the slate for February 2024 shows no signs of letting up. As always we are grateful to our staff, customers and suppliers for their commitment to Amarin, and hope to continue this momentum throughout the next 12 months and beyond.
