2003...What a year!
2003 was a year of note in the UK. It saw Sir Jonny Wilkinson’s last minute drop goal win the Rugby World Cup for England. Del Boy and Rodney Trotter left our screens as the final episode of ‘Only Fools & Horses’ aired and Britain experienced it’s hottest day ever recorded.
In the year that saw the United Kingdom’s Eurovision Song Contest entry, “Cry Baby” performed by the quickly forgotten ‘Jemini’ , score zero points, plans were afoot for the world to meet Amarin Rubber & Plastics.
In early 2003 Ian Howells and Martin Dibble were putting final touches to the launch of their new business in Weston super Mare. Seeing a gap in the market, and with vast experience of the industry, the pair set about offering businesses a viable alternative.
Now 20 years on you can read all about the modern day Amarin, and more about it’s history, on the about us page of the website here.
